We’ve already seen .822 land for the Bold 9000 on both Rogers and AT&T , so it looks like this may be one of better versions available for devices that won’t see BlackBerry 6. I’m sure a lot of you are big IM fans and probably use the likes of AIM, MSN, etc. Well you will be happy to know that they have recieved an update to version 2.5.63. No word on what has actually changed in any of the IM clients but I don’t think we will see much change.

Looks like its that time of the year again, time for Football season to start! If you are a football fan like me then you probably have a fantasy football team through one of the fantasy football providers (espn, cbs sports, yahoo sports, etc.)  Well if you have a Yahoo! Sports fantasy football team then you will be happy to know that the 2010 Yahoo! Fantasy Football Launcher is now available for BlackBerry!  If you remember last year there was a Yahoo! Fantasy Football dedicated app for BlackBerry that you could manage your team from.  Sadly this year we are only getting a Yahoo! Fantasy Football Launcher.

Rogers has carried a few BlackBerry handsets in purple variations, and the new Curve 3G is no exception. While typically labeled as “Lavender”, this new purple variation is being tagged as “Smokey Lavender”, and is available now in retail locations and online. It’s nice to see carriers focusing on BlackBerry 6-compatible devices from RIM, which should help further popularize BlackBerry handsets in the consumer market

Verizon customers looking to use Skype services on their BlackBerry handsets have a new leaked version to try out today, courtesy of BESMgmt and BlackBerry Leaks . Beta v1.0.5.0 has been leaked, with both desktop and OTA installation files available.
